Russell Lowe has long held a passion for improving the lives of his patients with innovative strategies for 'no blur' vision correction. Russell is a member of an elite international group of contact lens researchers, an affiliation that helps to keep eyetech at the cutting edge of new technology in a rapidly moving field. A pioneer of paediatric ortho-K treatment in Australia, Russell has a wealth of experience treating patients of all ages with this exciting vision modality. He provides undergraduate and post-graduate training in ortho-K at the Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences, University of Melbourne and lectures and publishes internationally in the contact lens arena. Dr. Laura Downie has completed a PhD in medical vision science as well as a post-graduate diploma in ocular therapeutics, enabling her to prescribe medications for patients with eye conditions ranging from conjunctivitis to glaucoma. Laura has rapidly developed a reputation for her clinical skills especially in the contact lens and corneal reshaping areas. Together our optometrists offer a combined experience of over 30 years.
